The Grand Rapids Jaycees created the Grand Rapids Jaycees Foundation in 1982 to help support the Chapter’s fund-raising projects and to provide grants to benefit other non-profit organizations. The Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization with its own Board of Trustees, decision making process, bylaws and policies.
The Grand Rapids Jaycees Foundation is committed to strengthening the community by giving...building...leading. Grant funds are derived through donations, investment income and other fundraising events. Each grant request is reviewed carefully, and final approval for grant requests is given by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
