2021 Grant Applications
The Grand Rapids Jaycees Foundation awards grants only to qualified 501© 3 tax exempt organizations located within West Michigan. Grant proceeds should be used predominately within Kent County.

2021 Grant Application
The application period ends November 12, 2021. 
Announcement of award recipients is tentatively scheduled for the third week of December 2021.

We are proud to have provided the following awards in 2020 to the list of recipients below:

  • Buchanan Elementary: $2,000 - Books for book vending machine
  • Grand Rapids Phoenix: $5,000 - Youth basketball program – basketball equipment and scholarships
  • Family Network of Wyoming: $3,500 - Retrofitting food pantry to allow a more self-determining food shopping experience
  • Blandford Nature Center: $10,000 - Viewing pavilion & accessible trail construction funding
  • First Tee West Michigan: $2,750 - 30 sets of junior golf equipment
  • Mel Trotter Ministries: $5,000 -  Replacement furniture and computer for YES program
  • Larlen Communications: $5,996 - 2 video cameras
  • New City Neighbors: $5,000  - Half of request to fund 3 appliances for new kitchen

Trustees oversee the Foundation’s investment portfolio, distribute grants and promote community development. To be eligible to become a Trustee, one must have served on the Grand Rapids Jaycees chapter board for one year or have been a Grand Rapids Jaycees chapter member for at least three years.
